On this particular afternoon, I decided to revisit one of my favourite areas in Perth, the stunning Swan Valley region. I’ve saved this For Love & Lemons mia maxi dress for a special occasion, so after all the wineries and chocolate factory stops, my partner and I made our way to this charming spot that is actually a venue for many wedding ceremonies. We took a long walk while waiting for the sun to go down before quickly grabbing these shots, and finally ended our magical evening off with a playful twirl and curtsy. Another fun thing coming your way: the FWRD and Revolve black friday sale (11/25 – 11/28/2016) with up to 65% off and free express – no restrictions or promo code needed! Go get ’em.

The demand for this post has been unbelievable, but first of all let me just say: please enter at your own risk and thread extremely carefully. Rangers frequently patrol the region so we can assume it’s unsafe for the public, and being in the area may result in a fine. Fellow Perth explorers have been kind enough to share the secret spot with me so if you do venture here, I trust that you will take very, very good care of the location. Lastly, if you know where to look, you’ll come to realise that the locals have already openly shared the exact map coordinates over the past few months, so me sharing my experience in a blog post won’t make much of a difference.

Map out coordinates -31.822064, 116.055090 and this is what you should see on your map – the coordinates given indicate the dropped pin along William Street, while the other star points to the Red Hill Quarry. You’ll have to park along or at the end of this street, and then follow the path upwards. The uphill trail is rather rocky, but nothing too serious – and a return trip will take approximately 1-2 hours. If it gets confusing, refer to your phone’s satellite map all the way and you should be able to find it. There’s also another quarry nearby (I wrote about it here) that guarantees a shorter trip, but is not as scenic. Anyway, have fun exploring and please thread cautiously!

W is for.. “Would you like to come on a road trip”, “When are we there yet”, “Wow, let’s stop here for a photo”, and “Wokay, walking’s tiring” – just a bit of what goes on during an average week with my posse of luggages. It’s safe to say my full-time travel buddies are, well, my suitcases but I haven’t found time to individually name them yet. That would be weird though, right? Jokes aside, coats are my favourite item of clothing because no one can ever tell if you’re pants-less (I promise I have shorts on in these shots) or if your coat is actually an oversized dress. All it takes is a cinch of a statement belt and a smear of red lipstick to take you from daytime to dinnertime. Tip: Accessorise with a car, bonus points if you guys match.
