        crochet story

        Manila, Phillipines

        When it comes to warmer months here in Manila, my clothes tend to come off in layers to less and less, unveiling more and more. After all, much of the fashion world proclaims that less is more – and in this instance, I think I have to agree.

        For summer, I’ve taken cues from the French Riviera and have developed a deep fondness for the straightforward allure of the crochet dress, and this Missguided piece is no exception. It certainly makes sense that the modern case for crochet is based on the allusion of a lady’s curves, and if the body skimming textile feels overly revealing, all it takes is for a maxi cardigan to be tied around the waist for that extra cover-up.

        But as I mentioned before, there’s no need to fret, Missguided already has you covered.

        !function(d,s,id){var e, p = /^http:/.test(d.location) ? ‘http’ : ‘https’;if(!d.getElementById(id)) {e = d.createElement(s);e.id = id;e.src = p + ‘://’ + ‘widgets.rewardstyle.com’ + ‘/js/shopthepost.js’;d.body.appendChild(e);}if(typeof window.__stp === ‘object’) if(d.readyState === ‘complete’) {window.__stp.init();}}(document, ‘script’, ‘shopthepost-script’);
