reinvented trench

The tried-and-true trench coat is arguably one of my favourite solid investment pieces and a wardrobe essential, rain or shine, and to have the iconic classic reinvented into a two-piece look is simply an all-round bonus.
To complement the camel get-up, I opted for some suede thigh-high boots to peek out from under my skirt, and accessorised with a mini chain strap bag and a fiddler newsboy cap for an off-duty feel. The great thing about this bustier and skirt combo is that they can be seamlessly transitioned between seasons by throwing a light coat on and off, and swapping long boots for lace-up sandals.

PS. My friend did comment on this look saying that I reminded her of Paddington Bear, and in return I thanked her profusely because quite frankly, that’s all I’ve ever wanted to be.
