I always look forward to returning to this dynamic city, and this time I’m lucky enough to be back here with my brother and parents whom I don’t get to see very often. It feels really nice to be reunited just in time for the New Year! Thankfully we also did miss the crazy Tokyo snowstorm by a day, so the weather is almost perfect. We had to visit Harajuku first because I missed my favourite fairy floss and the never ending flavours of crepes!
Then we visited the Hie Jinja (Shrine) in Chiyoda which is one of my favourite photo spots. It was kind of surreal seeing the temple being surrounded by snow, and the torii gates were still as picturesque as ever!
